Sometimes if your mouse cursor is close enough to the blue time stamp, the date and time will rapidly flicker, but it only works if the ‘time’ and ‘date’ are almost the same length/number of characters. Like everything with kinja, it’s very sometime-y.

I thought it worked all the time, but it doesn’t. Sorry about that. Carry on.
